7-L Livestock Equipment Ltd. is owned and operated by Wayne and Colleen Gardiner of Lakeland, Manitoba. Situated on the west side of Lake Manitoba in South Central Manitoba, Wayne and Colleen also operate 7-L Ranch, a cow/calf and backgrounder operation. 7 L Livestock Equipment calf chutes have now been on the market for over 10 years.

Being a great believer in electric fencing, Wayne also invented the Power Reel, which is used the build secure temporary electric fence, up to a mile long, as well as rolling up existing high tensile wire.
