Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies

The Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies (AAAS), based in Edmonton, Alberta, was originally formed in 1905 and officially incorporated in 1947. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that supports 291 agricultural societies across the province. AAAS provides farmers and rural communities with resources, advocacy, and programs that enhance local agricultural events, infrastructure, and education. Through initiatives like farm safety shows, Open Farm Days, and volunteer development, AAAS strengthens the agricultural fabric of Alberta.
