Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association

The Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association (AFFPA), founded in 1985 and based in Bonnyville, Alberta, supports direct-market growers across the province. It helps farmers by promoting agritourism and farm-direct sales of vegetables, fruits, meats, poultry, eggs, wines, and specialty products. Members benefit from resources, education, and marketing support, often selling through U-Pick farms, CSA shares, farm gate sales, and farmers’ markets. AFFPA strengthens Alberta’s local food economy by connecting communities with fresh, locally grown products and authentic farm experiences.
