Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, the Organic Council of Ontario (OCO) is the voice of the province’s organic sector. OCO supports farmers by advocating for organic-friendly policies, offering resources for certification, and providing training to help producers adopt and expand organic practices. With over 1,400 members—including farmers, processors, and retailers—it works to strengthen the organic value chain from field to fork. Through research, collaboration, and public engagement, OCO helps build a more sustainable and resilient food system in Ontario.
